Local dance group Vivid Motion brings dancers and choreographers together for their spring show double feature: “The Yellow Wallpaper” & “Tales From The End Of The World” – two amazing concepts in one great dance show! Brought to life by director Jenn Maher, “The Yellow Wallpaper” is a classic short story often cited as an early feminist work that asks difficult questions about the role of women, particularly regarding their mental health and right to autonomy and self-identity. “Tales From the End of the World” is an original concept from director Trevor Bean, detailing the poignant moments leading up to, during, and after an apocalyptic event. Each act intersperses humor even while taking a deeper look at heavier topics, and both include notes of hope and happiness.

This is an all-ages show, featuring a variety of dance styles set to music by Whitney Houston, Phantogram, Bono, Lily Kershaw, Muse, Zoë Keating, and Duran Duran, just to name a few.
