Last year’s inaugural “Best of All Things Irish in Maine” was an outstanding success. Originally imagined as an alternative to regular live events during the COVID-19 pandemic, the event brought together Irish talents from across the state and connected us with audiences worldwide. This fundraising effort allows us to stay connected with our members and community though expanded virtual offerings that can be accessed throughout the state, as well as supporting ongoing restoration projects at our headquarters, the former St. Dominic’s Church in Portland.
The MIHC is encouraging people from every corner of the state to submit their Irish skills and talents for a chance to be featured during the live event. Entries are due no later than October 15th and must be submitted online at www.maineirish.com/best. Winners will be notified no later than October 23rd.
