SPEEDWELL Contemporary announces the 2022 SPEEDWELL FÊTE, an awards ceremony and cocktail party to celebrate Abby Shahn, the recipient of the First Annual Speedwell Prize. Shahn is a Maine-based activist artist who has been working for decades in multiple media.

This evening of entertainment and food serves as fundraiser to further the gallery’s mission of honoring women in the arts. Classic and crossover tacos with accoutrements to be offered by Bird and Co. Flamenco music and award presentation.
