About The Show: Nieve loves her tundra friends, snowy hills, and polar treats. When her mom gets a new job far away, suddenly Nieve must leave everything that she knows. In her new home, vegetation grows thick and green, animals eat strange yellow fruit with a peel, and it is hot. Very, very hot. This little polar bear finds her way through the anxieties of moving to a new place where “only her mother’s hug feels the same as always.” This bilingual English & Spanish play is intended to foster belonging, celebrate the generosity of others, and offer young audiences a chance to imagine themselves as a Polar Bear in the Jungle.
