Scout Gillett with Lahnah, Lisa/Liza, and Windier
Rising Brooklyn-based artist Scout Gillett visits Portland’s Apohadion Theater alongside three Maine acts as she tours her debut album about profound trust called, ‘No Roof, No Floor’ arriving October 28th on NYC independent label Captured Tracks (DIIV, Mac Demarco).
Lahnah — Portland band weaving noise and post-rock melody into unpredictably playful collages touching on deep seated inspiration from bands Radiohead, Deerhoof, Daughters, as well as the infectious experimental spirit of David Bowie.
Lisa/Liza — Liza Victoria has long been a beacon of raw folk, distilling deep emotions and vulnerable states into compelling, stripped-back pieces of music. (Atwood Magazine)
Windier — With measured nylon-folk guitar and arranged sounds from a singed and tangled life, Windier’s music feels its way through the dark. The songs are small and contained but, reaching down through the mud, find fullness in a drum-drum-drumming way below our feet.
