Celebrate Downtown Businesses with Love Notes

Spread love throughout the downtown area with Love Notes — a heartwarming initiative aimed at showing love to local businesses and downtown organizations. Love Notes are postcards that we’ll mail to the business of your choice, thanking them for their products, employees, services, or anything else that you value.

To participate, visit the Portland Downtown team at the Portland Public Library on Saturday, February 3 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. You’ll get the chance to decorate a blank Love Note with your own message, using our crafty supplies to make it unique. Just leave it with us, and we’ll handle the postage and delivery!

Portland Downtown is a 501c4 non profit downtown improvement district funded through a supplemental tax paid by property owners within the district. The downtown district stretches primarily from Longfellow Square over to Franklin Street, with Cumberland Avenue as its northern boundary and the waterfront as its southern boundary.
