The Children’s Museum & Theatre of Maine is proud to celebrate 100 years of theatre for young audiences with a weekend of theatre festival magic! Fifteen plays inspired by Museum & Theatre exhibits and written by youth and adult playwrights will be performed by local actors on both Saturday, May 20, and Sunday, May 21. Hands-on activities, puppet-making, and surprises round out the festivities. All programming is included with admission. $15 General Admission. Members are free. All adults must be accompanied by a child. Reservations are highly recommended for visitors and members. Visits are offered in three hours blocks from 9 am-noon. P.S. – All that glitters is GOLD! Guests are invited to dress in gold, the official color for 100 years, and the celebration theme.
