We invite all community members including mental health professionals into this BIPOC centric space. Invited guest will share their experiences and discuss what works, what does not work with BIPOC communities. This healing circle was envisioned to cultivate community belonging and wellbeing for our BIPOC youth who have been (and are currently) struggling with mental and emotional wellbeing and connections. We define ‘youth’ as anyone between adolescence and age 30 but everyone is welcome to join regardless of age.
If you have any resources/connections to share, there will be audience participation to share these gifts within this healing circle. Circle is co- facilitated by the Harriet Tubman Movement Coalition.
Money raised will go toward paying invited guests and programming as well as contributing to The Harriet Tubman Movement Coalition’s work.
Envisioned by The Harriet Tubman Movement Coalition, Black Owned Maine, Ready, Set, THrive!, Sankofa Therapeutics, Desiree Lester &, Joy George.
