“I live nearby to the statue and it’s become a rite of my Spring to take a picture of it when in full bloom. It only lasts that way for a very short time! During Covid, he wore a mask and this year, the mask was off (more renewal). I had never taken a pic during the night but the lighting was so wonderful, that it looked like a different take,” Matt Schwach, photographer.
