DESCRIPTION:If you’re in or around Portland\, ME during the month of A
 pril stop in Richard Boyd Art Gallery to see a great annual exhibition o
 f original paintings and drawings created on a time honored raw product 
 – paper. An unforgiving surface around for centuries\, paper reveals t
 he artist’s proficiency in creating visual art.\n\nThis year’s exhib
 it is comprised of a selection of works on paper in a range of mediums a
 nd styles by a group of established and national renowned artists’ Dee
 na S. Ball – watercolor and mixed media\; Linda Caron – watercolor\;
  Patricia Chandler - charcoal and mixed media\; Randy Eckard – waterco
 lor\; Laura Freeman – graphite\; Kristin Horton - mixed media collage\
 ; Karen Chutsky Naud – chalk pastel\; Jen Pagnini – watercolor and m
 ixed media\; Wilson Stewart - mixed media\; and HM Saffer II - sumi-e\, 
 and Chinese and Japanese ground mineral pigments with gouache on Japanes
 e washi paper.\nWorks on Paper is on view free of charge between the hou
 rs of 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily from April 1st through April 29\, 2
