 its annual winter burlesque on Friday\, December 8th. Portland's longest
  running burlesque tradition is co-directed by Brigitte Paulus and MJ Em
 erson and features live music and original songs by the NB Ensemble band
 .\n\nIn true innovative and quirky Vivid Motion Dance style\, the compan
 y has revamped the classic holiday poem 'Twas the Night Before Christmas
  into a sizzling and sensual burlesque dance performance!\n\nWith 'Twas 
 The Night Before... Burlesque\, Santa and her sexy reindeer are sure to 
 liven up your evening in Vivid Motion Dance's retelling of this popular 
 poem. While no children are nestled anywhere in this show\, there are pl
 enty of mischievous and sexy elves to shake things up. What presents wil
 l come to life this year? Who will win the Hot Wheels race? Are the doll
 s naughty or nice? What’s in the big green box? Exactly how many artic
 les of clothing can dancers take off before a rowdy audience? So many qu
 estions - and all will be revealed!\n\nThis adults-only show opens with 
 its live band at 7:30 p.m. on Friday\, December 8th at The Hill Arts on 
 Munjoy Hill in Portland ME. Performances will run through Saturday\, Dec
 ember 16th.\n\nAll tickets are $25 in advance/$30 at the door and are av
 ailable through vividmotion.org.\n\nThere will also be a pay-what-you-ca
