DESCRIPTION:Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with the Maine Irish Heritage 
 Center as we throw open our doors for an afternoon of live music\, great
  food\, family fun activities\, a cash bar\, and more!\n\nFestivities wi
 ll begin at the MIHC following the Commercial Street St. Patrick’s Day
  parade on Sunday\, March 17th. (The parade itself will kick off at noon
  on Commercial Street.)\n\nOur friends from Plot Twist Pretzels\, Fred's
  Fried\, Cheese the Day\, and Maine-ly Meatballs will be on site to sati
 sfy your craving!\n\nPerformances from the Stillson School of Irish Danc
 e and Will Woodson and Caitlin Finley will be sure to keep you in the Ir
 ish spirit!\n\nFamily fun activities will be available\, including a spe
 cial visit from St. Patrick himself!\n\nGuests will also have the opport
 unity to check out our library\, learn about our Genealogy resources\, a
 nd visit the historic sanctuary built brick-by-brick by Irish hands in t
 he late 1800s.\n\nWe look forward to celebrating Maine's vibrant Irish h
 eritage with you!
