DESCRIPTION:For the past eleven years Richard Boyd Art Gallery has insta
 lled an annual exhibition of paintings depicting scenes of Maine. This y
 ear’s exhibit is another great show of paintings documenting scenes in
  Maine through the eyes of artists with diverse backgrounds\, perspectiv
 es\, and styles.\n\nThe exhibit features paintings that exemplify the di
 versity of subject matter in Maine which has long been a source of inspi
 ration for artists. The show is comprised of works of art depicting scen
 es from the interior\, to the islands\, coves\, and working waterfronts 
 in Maine. Each work is the artist’s interpretation of a scene in Maine
 .\n\nScenes of Maine includes original paintings and drawings by gallery
  artists’ Patricia Chandler – oil and cold wax medium\, and mixed me
 dia\; Carrin Culotta – oil\; Kevin Daley – oil\; Randy Eckard – wa
 tercolor\; Jane Herbert – acrylic\; Felicity Sidwell – oil\; and Wil
 son Stewart – acrylic.\n\nThe exhibit is open free of charge between t
 he hours of 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily from October 1st through Octo
