DESCRIPTION:The annual Running With Scissors Art Studios 6x6 Show and Op
 en Studios are happening in Portland\, Maine during Maine Craft Weekend.
  Wander 16\,000 square feet of private and communal work spaces while yo
 u explore the life and works of 80+ artists working with diverse mediums
 \, artistic goals\, backgrounds\, ages\, and experiences. This year will
  include a live woodblock t-shirt printing demonstration and a paint you
 r own pottery event. Bring your t-shirts and your inspiration to our ope
 n studios located at 250 Anderson Street in Portland on Saturday\, Octob
 er 7\, 2023 from 11am - 4pm.\n\nJoin us later that evening at Belleflowe
 r Brewing Co.\, located at 66 Cove Street\, from 5 - 7pm for an informal
  meet and greet and to view the annual RWS 6x6 Show. Each piece is 6” 
 x 6” and up to 6” deep\, an accessible and unifying format that show
 cases members' diverse styles and talents. The exhibit will be up throug
 h the end of November. RWS is a multimedia artist space and home to the 
 Clay\, Print\, and Wood Departments. Our studios are a community where m
 embers share equipment\, ideas\, tools\, and support. RWS’s goal is to
  help artists reach their independent creative ambitions by providing ac
 cess to shared equipment\, tools\, information\, and community. Open stu
 dios only happen twice a year. Support local artists and learn more abou
