SUMMARY:Irish Voices: An Evening of Poetry\, Art\, and Music
DESCRIPTION:Join us for an evening celebrating the arts and the Irish in
 fluence through poetry\, traditional music\, and the visual arts. The cu
 ltural thread of the literary\, music\, and visual arts and traditions\,
  whether in Ireland or in America\, will be front and center for your en
 joyment.\n\nThe program will feature six Irish poets presenting their or
 iginal work virtually from Ireland and six from this region reading thei
 r work live. The program will include performances from some of the area
 ’s best traditional musicians and also feature accomplished local visu
 al artists showing their work throughout the evening.\n\nThe event is a 
 collaboration between the Irish American Club of Maine\, the Maine Irish
  Heritage Center\, and The Cafe Review. The Cafe Review is a Portland-ba
 sed quarterly journal of poetry and art.
