DESCRIPTION:Join us for an evening celebrating the Irish arts through po
 etry\, traditional music\, and the visual arts. The cultural thread of t
 he literary\, music\, and visual arts and traditions\, whether in Irelan
 d or America\, will be front and center for your enjoyment.\n\nThe progr
 am will feature six Irish poets presenting their original work via video
  link from Ireland and six New England poets reading their works live. T
 he program will include performances from some of the area’s best trad
 itional musicians and accomplished local artists exhibiting their work t
 hroughout the evening.\n\nThe event is a collaboration between the Irish
  American Club of Maine\, the Maine Irish Heritage Center\, and The Cafe
  Review. The Cafe Review is a Portland-based quarterly journal of poetry
  and art.\n\nThe event will be held at the Maine Irish Heritage Center o
 n Saturday\, February 25th\, from 7 to 10 PM. Tickets are $25\, and ther
 e will be a cash bar.
