Program
On Sunday, October 27th, 2024, Concert for Climate will take place at 2:30PM at St. Luke’s Episcopal Cathedral in Portland, Maine. This inspiring program of music and message is for all ages, and will feature:
* Grammy Award winner composer and musician Paul Sullivan
* Violinist Lydia Forbes of the highly acclaimed Daponte String Quartet
* Accomplished pianist, composer and climate change activist, Sydney Patten
* World-renowned pianist Annie Antonacos of the Portland Piano Trio
* World Fusion Music specialist Randy Armstrong
Newly composed works honoring our oceans will be performed live for the first time.
Children in attendance will be delighted by a visit from a great white shark played by Cassandra Hayes, during a performance of Rachmaninov’s “Elegie.”
