  three sisters. Corina\, the oldest sister\, plays flute and piccolo\, L
 ia plays acoustic 7-string guitar\, and Elisa\, the youngest sister\, pl
 ays mandolin\, clarinet\, banjo\, piano\, and accordion.\n\nThe band pla
 ys Brazilian instrumental music based on choro\, an instrumental music g
 enre that emerged in Brazil in the 19th century to become a foundation f
 or Brazilian music. Choro combines elements from many styles of music: E
 uropean folk and classical\; ragtime\; jazz\; Latin\; and African music 
 - creating a mix that is uniquely Brazilian and enchanting.\n\nThe band 
 will be joined by the local group Choro Louco. The band was formed in 20
 13 by accomplished musicians who have established themselves as virtuoso
 s in other genres - ranging from classical music and jazz to Celtic\, kl
 ezmer\, and Middle Eastern music.
