DESCRIPTION:Award winning author/illustrator Oge Mora will read from her
  books and discuss her creative process. Oge Mora is a collage artist an
 d storyteller. Her picture book\, Thank You\, Omu!\, was a Caldecott Hon
 or\, Coretta Scott King/John Steptoe New Talent Award winner\, and Ezra 
 Jack Keats Book Award recipient. Her second book\, Saturday won the 2020
  Boston Globe—Horn Book Picture Book Award. Oge’s artwork has been a
 pplauded by The Washington Post\, The New York Times\, The Wall Street J
 ournal\, and The Boston Globe. She also recently made the Forbes 30 Unde
 r 30 2021 list in Arts &amp\; Style.\n\nOge grew up in Columbus\, Ohio b
 ut resides in Providence\, RI. She is a fan of all things colorful\, pat
 terned\, or collaged\, and enjoys creating warm stories that celebrate p

 t for admission to the Children Museum’s afternoon playtime\, even if
