DESCRIPTION:Stop in Richard Boyd Art Gallery on Friday\, March 4th at 10
 :00 a.m. for the opening of our sixth annual exhibit of American landsca
 pe paintings. Visual art portraying landscapes has been around for centu
 ries and remains one of the most collected. Whether created en plein air
  to capture the natural light and color in the area or in a studio setti
 ng using a sketch or photograph as a reference\, each work represents th
 e artist’s vision of that place in time.\n\nThe exhibit is comprised p
 aintings depicting the artist’s interpretation of a specific scene or 
 a detailed rendering of the landscape before them and features paintings
  by artists’ Deena S. Ball – watercolor\; Patricia Chandler – cold
  wax medium and oil\; Carrin Culotta – oil\; Kevin Daley – oil\; Jan
 e Herbert – acrylic\; Kristin Horton – acrylic\, and oil\; HM Saffer
  II – oil\; and Susan Tan – watercolor.\n\nA Walk in the Woods is op
 en free of charge between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. every Fr
 iday\, Saturday\, and Sunday through March 27th\, 2022. Additional days
