DESCRIPTION:The Portland Piano Trio will perform a FREE live community c
 oncert at the Portland Conservatory on October 24 at 4pm. The program wi
 ll include the wildly fun and popular Cafe Music by Paul Schoenfield.\n\
 nThe Portland Piano Trio\, recognized as “among the city’s must-hear
  groups” by critic Allan Kozinn\, has played public performances and h
 ouse concerts throughout Maine and New England\, including in Portland\,
  Portsmouth\, Camden\, Freeport\, and Peaks Island. Musicians Tracey Jas
 as-Hardel (violin)\, Wayne Smith (cello)\, and Anastasia Antonacos (pian
 o) are committed to bringing “energy\, understanding\, technique\, ins
 ight\, great beauty\, humor\, impressive ensemble\, and shared musical v
 alues” to the music they&nbsp\;play. Their varied programs feature tra
 ditional repertoire alongside newer works.\n\nThe trio\, which serves as
  the resident ensemble of 240 Strings\, was chosen for week-long residen
 cies in 2017 &amp\; 2018 at the prestigious Avaloch Farm Institute in Ne
 w Hampshire.&nbsp\;\n\n240 Strings\, founded in 2016\, cultivates young 
 minds and hearts by providing free classical music education\, while bui
